Hector Chomat
Founder, President, CEO
Active in Real Estate as a mortgage lender with mortgage loan originator license, NMLS 325544. Hector also holds a Florida real license estate Fl Lic 3227254. In addition to holding these professional licenses, Hector has as well acted as: a lender, property manager and a real estate investor, having bought and sold multiple properties during the last 35+ years. Hector started his real estate career in 1985 a few years after graduating from the University of Washington, Seattle in 1983. In essence, Hector has been directly involved in real estate in the South Florida market non-stop since 1985
Hector´s growth in the real estate industry has unique level of multi level experiences that include positions such as CEO, founder, sales person and property management.
Hector is the Key person and ultimate decision maker for County Trust Capital vision, strategy and growth objectives. It would be Hector’s knowledge and experience that will guide the firm through the typical ups and down, the waves and cycles associated of the real estate industry and real estate investment opportunities
Cheryl Powell
CFO
Cheryl Powell is the CFO of County Trust Capital and is responsible for all aspects of accounting, operations, and management of all properties contained within the portfolio. She joined Count Trust Mortgage Bankers in 1999 and has demonstrated commitment, loyalty, and tenacity.
Before joining County Trust, she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Florida International University. She has more than 20 years of experience in operations and management in the real estate and mortgage banking industry, working with ultra-high-net-worth investors in commercial real estate management and development. In addition, Cheryl is a licensed Florida real estate associate.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling to the Bahamas. She is passionate about aviation, holds an FAA commercial pilot license, and is a certified flight instructor. She hopes to obtain her seaplane rating in the near future.
Until very recently, Cheryl was working as Accounting Manager in the accounting department of another real estate investment firm.
Elsa Chomat
Asset Manager
This would be Elsa´s third tour as asset manager. Her first role as asset manager started back in 1985 working for Amerifirst Bank and the Resolution Trust Corp. When Amerifirst Bank failed, and it was taken over by the RTC or the Resolution Trust Corp., Elsa continued working for the RTC took for the next 2.5 years. In total between Amerifirst Bank and the local bank she worked for over 7.5 as an asset manager.
Elsa´s second tour as an asset manager was from 2008 through 2016. During those years, Elsa was responsible for managing, supervising and selling all of the residential real estate assets this large local bank. At present time, Elsa rather not disclose the bank’s name as she still receives business as a real estate agent from this institution.
In the early 1992 after giving birth to our only daughter, Margot H. Chomat, Elsa joined County Trust Mortgage Bankers as a loan officer through 2006 when County Trust Mortgage Bankers closed anticipating the financial crisis.
